Experts provide running recommendations ahead of India’s first snow marathon, which takes place today in Lahaul, Himachal Pradesh.

For the first time in the world, a snow marathon is taking place right here in India. Around 150+ running enthusiasts will participate in the pilot version, which is set to take place today, March 26.The race is designed for runners, women, and juniors, and will be divided into five categories: a full marathon (42 km), a half marathon (21 km), a 10-kilometer run, a 5-kilometer run, and a 1-kilometer run on a snow-covered trek in Sissu at an altitude of 11,000 feet. According to the website, the starting and ending point of the marathon is the Sissu helipad.
